2022 Speakers Include:

Nikki Beitenman is the Supervisory Biomedical Engineer leading the Additive Manufacturing efforts at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. Ms. Beitenman received her BS in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomaterials and Tissues and a BA in Business and Organizational Communication Structures from the University of Akron in Akron, OH. She began her career with the St. Louis VA Medical Center in 2016 where she began working with the Prosthetic Department to develop a process for 3D printing check sockets for amputee patients. After 3 years, Ms. Beitenman transferred to the Charleston VA where she developed and stood up the Advanced Manufacturing Site as part of the Innovation Ecosystem. She collaborates with clinicians, engineers, and hospital staff across the facility as well as the rest of the country. The Charleston Team manufactures products and devices that range from facility improvement to patient matched medical devices.

Lianna Genovese is the CEO & Founder of ImaginAble Solutions and inventor of the company’s international award-winning assistive device Guided Hands™. The product enables people living with limited hand function to write, paint, draw and access technology. Lianna received her bachelor’s degree in biomedical and mechanical engineering at McMaster University. At 19 years old, Lianna created the first prototype of Guided Hands™ for a fellow student living with Cerebral Palsy. Today, at 22 years old, she has made an impact on individual's quality of life and has brought the product to market across North America. Lianna and her invention Guided Hands™ have won several international awards including the James Dyson Engineering Award! Lianna is also a passionate public speaker for women in STEM and entrepreneurship as well as accessibility innovation for individuals living with disabilities.

Jennifer Palinchik is President of JALEX Medical, LLC. The company is located just outside of Cleveland, OH and provides Medical Device Design, Regulatory, and Quality Consultation services to companies, hospitals, and surgeon inventors. She brings over 19 years of experience in the field, specializing in engineering and regulatory affairs activities. Under her leadership, the company has experienced year over year growth and has achieved a significant amount of device clearances thru the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). She is an active member in regional organizations that promote biomedical and healthcare in Northeast Ohio, has been a guest speaker at conferences for the medical industry, sits on several advisory boards, and has been featured in several local and national publications. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering degree from the University of Toledo and an MBA in Executive Management & Entrepreneurship degree from Ashland University.

Nathan currently works at restor3d where they aim to improve the reconstruction and repair of the human body through 3D printed implants. At restor3d he leads product development activities including traditional 510(k) cleared implants as well as patient specific device. Prior to joining restor3d he was an employee / consultant for various medical device startups and he spent two years at McKinsey & Company helping to shape the strategy of leading F500 companies. He completed his doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech where his thesis was on advanced biomaterials for orthopedic applications. He also completed his undergraduate degree at Georgia Tech.

In 2013, Dr. Rybicki's presentation and associated Press Conference at the annual meeting of the RSNA demonstrated the impact of clinical 3D printing; it was covered by all major television networks. Via the Associated Press, the release had over 150 major US and international media feeds; the RSNA has officially reported an audience of 783 million individuals. Dr. Rybicki created and delivered the current educational methods for medical 3D printing, including the first CME program (at RSNA).

In 2021, we ran a global, virtual conference that celebrated innovators who are shaping the future of manufacturing, from desktop printers to digital factories. The summit brought together thousands of Formlabs users from over 100 countries to connect and learn.

Highlights included a talk from a user at Marvel Studios, the Impact Award presentation to incredible medical professionals who used 3D printing to respond to COVID-19, and live demos and Q+A sessions with our product experts.
