Grace Tan-Wang is a Principal Systems Engineer at NASA/JPL, spending first half of her 30+ years in the development of spacecraft and the second half in mission operations. She has worked primarily on in-house flight projects such as Cassini, Spirit and Opportunity, Curiosity, Perseverance, and now on Mars Sample Return. She is works on technology advancements such as the Low Density Supersonic Decelerator project and now is co-leading the Europa Lander’s Autonomy task. Grace has a BS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT and a MS in Aerospace Engineering from USC.

Amy Alexander is Unit Head of the Biomechanical Development and Applied Computational Engineering units within Mayo Clinic’s Division of Engineering (DOE). In this role, she bridges the additive manufacturing capabilities of the DOE with the clinical practice. Amy chairs the Society of Manufacturing Engineering (SME) Medical Additive Manufacturing Advisory Group, and is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering’s (ASME) Medical AM Advisor Committee and a member of the Radiological Society of North America’s 3D Printing in Medicine Special Interest Group (RSNA 3D SIG). Amy is a frequent co-author of medical 3D printing peer-reviewed papers, and long-term reviewer for Springer’s 3D Printing in Medicine Journal. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). Dr. Christian Coachman graduated in Dental Technology in 1995 and in Dentistry at the University of São Paulo/Brazil in 2002. He is the president of the Brazilian Society of Esthetic Dentistry and a member of the European and American Academies of Esthetic Dentistry, becoming the only dentist member of 3 of the most important esthetic dentistry academies in the world. In 2004, Dr. Coachman was invited by Drs. Goldstein, Garber, and Salama, to join Team Atlanta as the Head Ceramist of their laboratory – a position he held for 5 years. He has worked with some of the world’s most renowned dentists. He is the developer of well known, worldwide concepts such as Digital Smile Design, Pink Hybrid Implant Restoration, Digital Planning Center, Emotional Dentistry, Interdisciplinary Treatment Simulation and Digital Smile Donator. He is the founder and CEO of the DSD-Digital Smile Design company and the Director of the DSD Residency program, providing continuing education courses for dental professionals all over the world. In 2017, he became an adjunct professor of the Restorative Department at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and, in 2018, coordinator of the Digital Dentistry Post Grad Program at University UniAvan in Balneário Camboriú, SC, Brazil.

Jaco is an award winning artist that has been in the film and entertainment industry for more than 20 years and has worked on over 90 feature films and productions. He has acquired many skills by always exploring different aspects of his art form and keeping up with new technologies as well as materials. His passion is to be involved in the creative processes from inception through to final application. He incorporates digital technology into his workflows as much as possible by combining digital sculpting, 3D scanning, 3D printing and CNC milling with his traditional art skills.

Ya’ara Keydar, MA, is a fashion historian and curator. She is currently a doctoral student in the Cultural Studies PhD program at the Hebrew University. Keydar graduated from the Costume Studies MA program at NYU, and received NYU Steinhardt School’s Samuel Eshborn Award in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in fashion design from Shenkar College. Keydar curated the exhibitions "The Ball: Taylor-Made Escapism" (2021) and "Je t’aime, Ronit Elkabetz,"(2018) at Design Museum Holon. She also curated "NY Fashion Rediscovered," at ZAZ10TS Gallery in New York in 2020, and her previous exhibition, "A Walk of Art: Visionary Shoes," was shown at the Parasol gallery in New York in 2017, and subsequently traveled to San Francisco. She has interned at both the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute and the Museum at FIT.

Jan Wolff graduated in 1995. He then pursued a specialisation in Oral Surgery and at a later stage Maxillofacial Surgery. After specialising he worked in Sweden, Germany, Finland, The Netherlands and Denmark. He received a PhD degree in medicine from the Vrije University Amsterdam. Furthermore, he was awarded the academic title of Adjunct Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Tampere, Finland, and the title of Privatdozent in Oral Surgery from the University of Hamburg. He recently worked part-time at the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Additive Manufacturing Technologies IAPT in Hamburg, Germany. Currently Jan Wolff is Professor and Chair of the Section of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Pathology at the University of Aarhus in Denmark.

Max Lobovsky is co-founder and CEO of Formlabs. Formlabs pioneered the new category of professional desktop 3D printing when it launched the world’s first affordable, powerful desktop stereolithography 3D printer. Prior to starting Formlabs, Lobovsky led the efforts at Fab@Home, one of the industry’s earliest open-source 3D printing projects which has been instrumental in setting up labs in schools worldwide. A Forbes’ 30 Under 30 recipient and World Economic Forum Pioneer, Lobovsky holds a B.S. in Applied Engineering and Physics from Cornell University and a M.S. in Media Arts and Sciences from MIT.

Dylan Horvath is an engineer, industrial designer and entrepreneur who explores how to use design to improve human experiences. He is the CEO and founder of Cortex Design, an award-winning product design firm based in Toronto. Dylan and his team design medical devices and consumer products that foster human connection, improve health outcomes, and allow people to do things that they couldn’t before -- everything from wearable devices to portable 3D printers to musical instruments. Cortex won the Bold Epic Innovator XPrize for the VITALITI Tricorder, a cloud-based wearable medical device that can diagnose 19 medical conditions and monitor all 5 vital signs. Their work has been featured in Popular Science, Huffington Post, The Globe and Mail, Forbes, and Canadian Business’s Fastest Growing Companies.

Dr. Summer Decker is the Director of 3D Clinical Applications and Vice Chair of Research and Innovation at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and Tampa General Hospital. Her team does medical modeling and printing for hospitals across the Tampa Bay area and the US. They hold multiple patents for medical devices developed in their lab using 3D printing. In conjunction with their colleagues at Northwell Health, the USF Health 3D team developed the 3D printed nasopharyngeal swab for COVID diagnostic testing in 2020. Working with FormLabs for distribution, there are more than 70 million of the USF Health designed swab in nearly 60 countries.

From supporting rights for student-athletes vs the NCAA, to challenging the status quo within Urban Mobility in a land built for cars, Peters' goal is to change the world for the better in his own unique ways. He's a recent Kettering University graduate who founded KUHMUTE, together with fellow KU grad Scott Spitler, in 2018 during the early rise of Micromobility. This was mostly due to the new form of dockless escooters that roamed the world, and caused havoc for cities. Together, Peter and Scott, understood there should be an EV charging network experience, but agnostic to any form factor of Micromobility -- for both shared and owned. C. Mei-An Tsu holds a M.S. in Objects Conservator from the Winterthur Museum/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation. Currently, she is an objects conservator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston where she is responsible for conserving large-scale stone sculpture for installation in newly renovated galleries dedicated to Greek, Roman and Byzantine Art. Her research interests include the use of emerging technologies to promote the preservation of cultural heritage, as well as to enhance the visitor experience and accessibility to collections.

Matt is the Founder and CEO of Partial Hand Solutions and inventor of the M-Finger, M-Thumb, Partial M-Finger, Titan Series heavy duty locking fingers and the Hold-It device. He is a graduate of Springfield College with a degree in Health and Fitness and a Certified and Licensed Prosthetist. He is also a National Upper Limb Prosthetic Specialist with Hanger Clinic. Matt is an adjunct professor at the University of Hartford and has lectured and consulted internationally. He has also written several published articles and book chapters.

Yurdanur Ucar graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Dentistry where she received her DDS degree. She has a PhD in Prosthodontics received from Cukurova University. She holds MS-degree in Dental Materials and PhD-degree in Oral Biology both received from The Ohio State University, USA. She was a Full-Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry at Cukurova University where she served as Department Head of Prosthodontics and Vice Dean for Educational Affairs. She was as an adjunct-faculty in Department of Biotechnology. She also served as Department Head of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology. Dr. Ucar’s research focus includes dental-materials, dental-implantology, biomaterials, additive manufacturing of metal powders, ceramic and polymers including layered-manufacturing applications of bone tissue engineering. She is founder and CEO of a start-up company called BioFuture founded to make customized hard tissue using stem cells and 3D-bioprinters. She currently works in a private dental clinic in Antalya.

Bioengineer who obtained his degree at the University of Pavia, Italy with a huge interest in additive manufacturing and the use of 3D modeling in order to support surgical training. He manages the production line and the activity of training using the UpSurgeOn's technologies. Marco started working in the field of neurosurgery and now he is involved in R&D processes to enter in other disciplines thanks also to his presence in the operating room.

Sarah Boisvert is a pioneer in digital manufacturing, lasers, 3D Printing and workforce training. She co-founded Potomac Photonics that invented and manufactured the laser for LASIK surgery and laser machine tools for micro-manufacturing. After the sale of Potomac, she consulted for the MIT Fab Lab Network She founded Fab Lab Hub, LLC in Santa Fe, NM in 2017 to develop workforce training programs and in 2021 created the New Collar Innovation Center a private-public partnership to spur creative problem-solving, especially for education. In collaboration with America Makes, she developed a digital badge micro-certification program for 3D Printing technicians. Fab Lab Hub was also granted an additive manufacturing registered apprenticeship by the US Dept. of Labor in 2020. Sarah is a Fellow and Past President of the Laser Institute of America, an Ambassador of America Makes, and founded the New Mexico chapter of Women in 3D Printing.

Dmitry Vasilev is a co-founder and CBDO of "Karfidov Lab" LLC and "Komarik" LLC. He graduated NUST MISiS in Moscow and then received master's degree in a joint program of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology and MIT. In 2014 Dmitry worked at the laboratory of advanced manufacturing technologies at the University of South Carolina. His research was done under guidance of Professor Zafer Gurdal and Professor Psakhie S.G. in the field of FDM-like manufacturing process to produce composite parts with anisotropic properties. Dmitry along with his partner Alexey are among the first donors of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. Since 2014, he is co-owner of the engineering company Karfidov Lab. After 7 years the company has become the market leader in industrial design and high-tech design of innovative devices and products with a turnover of more than 2 mln USD. He co-founded several spin-off companies, attracted VC round to a medical equipment project. Dmitry is an expert in Product Design and Development, end-to-end design, development management and manufacturing technology.

In 2016 awarded the title of Associate Professor of Higher Attestation Commission in 2018 received the highest medical category more than 80 publications, including in international citation databases 2 Ph.D. under my supervision I am fluent in all methods of orthopedic and therapeutic dental treatment, including complex, maxillofacial prosthetics, aesthetic treatment and prosthetics, whitening, implant prosthetics, removable prosthetics. I work with a microscope and magnification. I own all the techniques of digital dentistry. I understand the analysis of CBCT and other X-ray studies of the head and neck. I work in the field of oncology, experience in the management and rehabilitation of patients after cancer treatment in the head and neck.

Paul is Pixologic’s in-house ZBrush expert. He is responsible for developing and enhancing the digital sculpting pipelines at multiple area studios, working with artists ranging from feature animators to toy designers. As part of the Pixologic team, Paul travels to various studios and schools, giving live demos and offering educational and artistic support.

I was born in 1984 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm a CG Artist and Digital Sculptor and I´ve been working in different areas of the field for more than fifteen years. My first job connected with the 3D world was in engineering as a Mechanical Designer. Later on, I moved to Architectural Visualization as a Technical Director. This was followed by Video Games, where I worked as a Lead Animator. Then I entered the Advertising and Motion Graphics business as a CG artist and Art Director. And for the last 5 years, I´ve been working as a digital sculptor for some of the best collectible companies in the world, like Sideshow Collectibles. There, I perform the role of Senior Sculptor and Art Director, giving life to many DC and Marvel characters, from the comics to the statue collectible world.

Conrad J Rensburg is CEO and head of the dental implant division at Absolute Dental Lab in the Triangle region of North Carolina. He graduated under full scholarship with a 4-year Baccalaureate degree from Pretoria Tech in 1992. He is certified with an ND in technology and specialized with an NHD in fixed prosthetics. He is a member of the prestigious PEERS association, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American College of Prosthodontists and registered with the NADL, NCDLA and certified by the SADTC. He is also a self-taught metalsmith and the founder of Studio Forty Seven where he combines digital fabrication methodologies and traditional metalworking techniques to create jewelry and other sterling silver products.

Kat started her career studying sculpture and fine arts, but eventually found her medium in digital fabrication. She has a diverse tool background, with experience in both traditional and additive manufacturing. As an educator and consultant, she's helped many early stage product designers bring their ideas to life through iterative designing and prototyping. Kat's process is as focused on usability for the user, as it is for the designer, following the guiding principles of design feasibility during the entire product development life cycle.

Juan holds a Masters of Industrial Design (MID) from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and a Bachelors of Industrial design (BID) from Universidad Rafael Landivar, in Guatemala City. He was raised in a colorful and vivid culture, quickly developing an interest in how things were made, tearing everything he owned apart and putting it back together, often with a few leftover pieces. After a succession of projects related to design for development, Juan was chosen as a Fulbright fellow for the class of 2013 by the U.S. Department of State. He went on to be the lead designer for Voxel8, helping create the world’s first 3D Electronics printer. He is currently Chair of the Product Design BFA at MICA in Baltimore, MA. Juan was honored as one of MIT Technology Review’s Innovators Under 35 for 2017.

Manfred is an early bird in the AM industry. He founded his first company 32 years ago. Since then, he founded a couple more startups (3D-scanning, 3D-printing, content production). During the last years he was responsible for the DACH market for Hubs (formerly 3D-Hubs). In 2021 he took over the role as Head of AM and digitalization for an automotive prototyping company. His task: make the company ready for the future and integrate all new technologies to the daily busines. He is a member of the advisory board for the German 3D printing association. Dr. Mayra Vasques is researcher at Univ. of Sao Paulo (Brazil) and founder of iNNOV3D an EdTech company focused on supporting and training teachers and universities for the innovative and efficient use of 3D Technologies in Dentistry. She started in the additive manufacturing field in 2015, during her PhD Fellow at School of Dentistry at the University of Sao Paulo, where she led a project in additive manufacturing for the development of occlusal splints for patients with orofacial pain. Dr. Bencharit was a recipient of the American College of Prosthodontists 2021 Distinguished Researcher Award. He has published over 100 abstracts and authored over 80 peer-reviewed articles.

Edoardo Trombini, 26 years old, is a Product Designer at Bertone Design and New Crazy Colors. Graduated in Product Design at IED University of Milan, he has a strong passion for design and planning, driven by the desire to know the past, reinterpret it and project it into the future. His initial love for "do-it-yourself" turned into the desire to create objects from design to realization. For Edoardo, there is nothing more exciting than seeing your product in its evolution, from the first sketches to its evolvement in the tiniest details. Edoardo uses 3D printing actively since 2018, which allows him, even in the design phase, to think and then create increasingly complex products from the beginning. Being responsible for prototyping and 3d printing of the group, Trombini retains that the 3D printers of Formlabs have better-printed products for prototyping and now real production.

Matthias Gräser received his Dr.-Ing. in May 2016 at the institute of medical engineering (IMT) at the university of Lübeck and was working as a group leader for hardware development at the institute for biomedical imaging (IBI) at the university clinics in Hamburg-Eppendorf, Germany. In June 2021 he received accepted the call of the University of Lübeck as Professor for Instrumentation in Imaging and develops as joint professor with the Fraunhofer Research Insitution for Individualized and Cell-based Medcial Engineering concepts for Magnetic-Particle-Imaging (MPI) devices.

Veteran, Paramedic, & Firefighter, Mychael Overstreet's desire to save lives led him to establish TensionSquare,LLC, whose namesake device eliminates the 3rd leading cause of preventable death in combat/trauma emergencies. With multiple devices in the pipeline, his company focuses on making life saving medical devices and interventions more accessible, affordable, and produced in a more environmentally friendly manner than the traditional alternatives to additive manufacturing.

She graduated from high school in 2002. In 2004, she opened his own workshop. Since 2010, she has received training related to occlusion and completed trainer training. She gives occlusion trainings in Turkey and internationally on Slavicek and NAT concepts. Currently, she continues her work in her workshop, which is also an International Training Center, which she founded in Fethiye.

Patricia has been a part of Alvetro Orthodontics since 2019. Patricia started out as a Clinical Assistant and has now become the Digital Specialist at Alvetro Orthodontics. Patricia has experience in 3D printing and has been able to experiment with a variety of 3D printers and 3D printing materials. Patricia oversees the digital workflow, designs and prints indirect bonding trays, aligner case series, and models for appliances for the patients of Alvetro Orthodontics.

Dr. Lisa Alvetro is considered an early adopter of 3D printing in orthodontics with years of experience. After 28 years of practice, she considers the integration of a digital workflow and 3D printing into her practice as the most significant advancement in orthodontic treatment and the entire patient experience. Not only is Dr Alvetro in private practice, she shares her digital experience as an evaluator and consultant for various companies. As a faculty member at Case Western Reserve University department of Orthodontics, she shares her passion for 3D printing with the resident and has establish their 3D print lab. Her belief that every office should be 3D printing or they will be missing out on something special leads to her enthusiasm in sharing her experience.

Daniel graduated with a BSc Hons in Biomedical Engineering and an MSc in Medical Visualisation and Human Anatomy. He has over 10 years experience in medical device development and deployment into clinical settings, 7 of which are specifically related to medical 3D printing and automated applications. Daniel is responsible for the strategy within Axial3D, including its development of machine learning algorithms to automate segmentation processes.

Previously studied fashion communication, styling, fashion editing and photography. Founded an online fashion magazine called Kaos Magazine when she was 21 with a team of 12 people. In 2016/2017 she moved to London for a year and worked on Carnaby Street at a shoe company called Irregular Choice. When she came back to Italy she worked in a department store in Rome, again in the shoe section and started studying innovation, startups at the same time. She also studied fashion sustainability at Copenhagen Business School. Trilly shoes is her obsession because she knew that it can positively change the quality of women's lives.

Dr. Christian Petropolis studied medicine at Dalhousie University and completed residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Manitoba. He completed a fellowship in Adult Craniomaxillofacial at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre before returning to Manitoba to practice. His clinical interests are trauma reconstruction, cutaneous oncology and head and neck reconstruction. Dr. Petropolis is the program director for the plastic surgery residency program and has a strong interest in medical education and surgical simulation. His other research interests include medical modelling, 3D printing and rapid prototyping.

Dr Kanawati is an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon who has developed a special interest in clinical and research uses of 3D printing. He has developed several novel custom 3D printed patient-specific spinal guides to assist in surgery, and uses composite models made of several different Formlabs materials to plan complex surgeries.

Bill graduated from Cambridge University Vet School in 1997 and subsequently worked as a vet in general practice before undertaking specialist training in Orthopaedics. Bill then worked as a referral orthopaedic surgeon for nearly 10 years, during which time he started using CAD-based virtual surgical planning and 3D-printed surgical guides in the treatment of cases. Dr. William “Mike” Karlin is a member of the Department of Clinical Sciences and is an Assistant Professor in Small Animal Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Karlin splits his time between the orthopedic service in Foster Hospital for Small Animals and instructing clinical year students and training interns and residents. Dr. Karlin came to Tufts from his position as a small animal surgeon at the Intown Veterinary Group Hospital in Natick, MA. Prior to that he was a surgeon at the Southern New Hampshire Veterinary Referral Hospital in Manchester, NH. Dr. Karlin is double-boarded as a diplomate of American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) in both Small Animal and Large Animal. He completed a residency/fellowship for dual certification in small animal surgery at Lauderdale Veterinary Specialists in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2014, and he received his Masters of Veterinary Science and completed a residency in large animal surgery from the University of Illinois in 2010. His DVM degree was awarded from Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, and his BS from the University of Nebraska in 2002.

Arjen Sundman is one of the founders of Amfit, a pioneer in mass customization. He has served the organization as mechanical engineer, engineering manager and since 1999 as President. He holds 13 patents for technology related to the company's core business of digitizing the shape of a foot, using Amfit's suite of software tools to adjust that shape and Amfit's proprietary milling technology to manufacture custom foot orthotics in minutes. Kerim Genc is the Business Development Manager for the Simpleware Product Group at Synopsys. He received his BS and MS in biomechanics from the University of Calgary and the Pennsylvania State University respectively, and completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, examining countermeasures to and computational models of spaceflight induced bone loss and fracture risk.

Kim has taught Mechanical Design and Tool Design for Moraine Park Technical College in West Bend, WI for the past 25 years. Previously he designed zinc die cast dies for an automotive lock manufacturer in Milwaukee for over 15 years. In addition, he has been using additive manufacturing methods for 30+ years to print parts for production and educational needs. The past 4 years he has been teaching students how to printing cores and cavities to run in a 90 ton injection molding press. He is also the Kettle Moraine SolidWorks User Group Leader (KEMSUG).

Konrad Job is a Podiatrist and Project Manager at PodCAM Supplies. Konrad has spent the past 10 years working in the foot orthotic manufacturing sector. He has overseen the development of a foot orthotic CADCAM system (LaserCAM Orthotics) that generates files for subtractive, and more recently additive manufacture. His Podiatry degree also helps him perform his current role as a clinical consultant for Cad Cam Orthotics, where he routinely assists health care professionals with 3D scanning, foot orthosis prescription and understanding the equipment required for orthosis design and manufacture.

Francisco is the founder and CEO at Prothesia. A health-tech startup focused on mobility and diagnostics. He is a Mechatronics Engineer and has a minor in Advanced Materials. He previously worked as a cybersecurity consultant and Open Data officer in the Mexican state of Jalisco. He has been recognized as an MIT Innovator Under 35.

Alex Drew is a biomedical engineer working in the orthopaedic medical device field. He graduated from the University of Portland (’08) with a degree in mechanical engineering and worked as a manufacturing engineer focused on land-based and aero turbine investment casting. Alex earned his doctorate from the University of Utah (’18) where he worked to develop implant systems for direct skeletal attachment of prosthetics in lower and upper extremity amputees. He chose to follow this technology to DJO Surgical in Austin, Texas as they aim to make the approach broadly available to amputees who are not well served by traditional socket style prostheses. While at DJO, Alex has led the integration of rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing techniques in the new product development process. Michael is a well-known expert in the field of digital dentistry. He has a unique insight because he is a dentist and a dental technician with a Ph.D. in the field of digital dentistry. Hisham Sabbagh studied dentistry at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona. Since 2016, he has been involved in digital dentistry in research, clinical and teaching settings and obtained his PhD degree in the field of 3D printing. David Zopf is an Assistant Professor in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan. He is also a part of the Scaffold Tissue Engineering Group in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Beginning in 2011, Dr. Zopf has cultivated several innovations in medical 3D printing. Dr. Zopf is a member of the biomedical team - along with Dr. Glenn Green and Dr. Scott Hollister - that developed a lifesaving, patient specific, 3D printed airway splint. Dr. Zopf was lead author of the landmark New England Journal of Medicine article detailing this innovation. This was the first report in literature introducing the role and potential of 3D printing in personalized medical devices. Dr. Zopf led preclinical testing in a novel animal model for tracheobronchomalacia. This work has paved the way for an upcoming clinical trial. Dr. Zopf then led the development of 3D printing for craniofacial applications including scaffolds for auricular reconstruction and microtia repair, as well as nasal scaffolds for partial and total nasal reconstruction. With unique national and international exposures to microtia reconstruction, Dr. Zopf then led the development of a 3D printed rib for surgical simulation of auricular reconstruction. He has utilized 3D printing for several other applications in surgical simulation, including simulation and rehearsal in skull base surgery. Dr. Zopf continues to find further applications for the versatile tool of 3D.

Kelsey is a founder of southern ocean subsea, he has been working in the ROV (remotely operated vehicle) industry for 7 years operating, consulting, repairing and inventing. His background before this was a diesel tech working with mechanical and electronic systems, his interest in design, innovation and robotics led him to the ROV industry where he never looked back. Dávid Lakatos is Chief Product Officer at Formlabs, overseeing all aspects of the company’s product development. James Austin is the Lead Mechanical Engineer at PSYONIC, a prosthetic start-up in Champaign, Illinois that develops and manufactures advanced, accessible, robust bionic limbs. James received his MS in Mechanical Engineering in 2018 from the University of Alberta after completing his thesis research in prosthetic control at the BLINC Lab. Prior to this, he received his BE in Honors Mechanical Engineering in 2013 from McGill University, and worked on satellite hardware design at MDA Satellites from 2014-2016. At PSYONIC, James works on and oversees the design, CAD modelling and manufacturing of all mechanical components - especially for PSYONIC's flagship prosthetic product, the Ability Hand - as well as implementing, conducting, and analyzing mechanical tests and quality controls.

Dr. Goldstein's research focuses on utilizing 3D technologies both in the clinic and in the laboratory. Dr. Goldstein's Lab focuses on anatomical models, patient specific treatments, and tissue engineering. Most recently his team has developed and deployed multiple devices for COVID-19 pandemic response. Additionally, he has developed amphibious prosthetic legs for both civilians and wounded warriors.

Associate Professor Einar Heiberg has a background in computer science and electrical engineering with a PhD in Medical Image Processing from Linköping University, Sweden. He is an active researcher with more than 100+ publications on medical image process, and 2007 he started the MedTech company Medviso AB as a spin-off of the from research at Lund University. In 2019 he initiated the 3D Centre at Skåne University Hospital of which he is a director. The centre serves the hospital and surrounding hospitals with patient-specific models and cutting guides.

Greg has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering Option from the University of Colorado Boulder. He is the Director of R&D at BioMedtrix, a Movora company, which is a veterinary orthopedic company specializing in joint replacements. They use 3D printing in many different facets of their work, from prototyping implants and instrument designs for a cadaveric research surgery to Patient-Specific Instruments (PSIs) utilized in custom clinical cases.

Vadan LLC produces architecturally unique fine jewelry for the evolved frontiersman under its own brands, provides jewelry, clothing accessories, and collectible product design services for Amiri and other leading fashion brands and celebrities, and advises jewelry professionals on speeding up production with 3D technology. Quincy was trained as a classical visual artist under masters like Henry Yan and Kazu Sano, then taught himself 3D design using Zbrush software to bring classical techniques into the modern production era.

Paloma obtained her Ph.D. in MIT Design and Computation in 2021, developing pedestrian simulations by applying state-of-the-art AI. In parallel, her motivation led her to work in sustainable materials and reducing negative environmental impact. Paloma’s work currently aims to foster bio-based materials for fully circular economies; revolving around material development, computing, and manufacturing. She has experience working with forestry companies and construction materials. A few of Dr. Gonzalez-Rojas achievements are: Creating an organic compostable film from recycled wood pulp, a matrix material for packaging at all scales. In addition, with her co-founder Jose Tomas Dominguez, MechE, they invented tooling for molded fiber technology through her startup, The New Materials. When I was young I liked to walk around in the buff with a tool belt as a loincloth; blow-molded hammer in hand. This progressed into sandbox construction yards. I then graduated to LEGO bricks. The urge to design has never left. I now lead design teams to execute and deliver on award-winning products. I provide strategic vision and guidance on the projects I lead in the medtech/healthtech and consumer tech space. I'm deftly able to consider relevant stakeholders and propose design solutions that meet their collective needs. My in-depth knowledge of the product development process: from upfront research and requirement definition, consideration of the complete user experience, to concept definition, through to prototype engineering and design for manufacturing and assembly allows me and my teams to deliver exceptional project outcomes.

George is an Electrical Engineer with a specialization in Telecommunications and Computing management. During the past 16 years, George has moved from Telecom into the Dental field specializing in the manufacturing of prostheses and clinical appliances. His first contact with 3D printing occurred in 2007 when creating a guided surgery solution. Since the first contact adaptive manufacturing, George has been using 3D printing daily to manufacture models, surgical guides, prostheses, and the prototyping of R&D products.

Genevieve is a manufacturing engineer working with additive technologies at Fast Radius. With a background in welding metallurgy and metal additive manufacturing, she previously worked on 3D printing titanium, nickel-base, refractory metal alloys for defense, aerospace and marine/Naval industries. At Fast Radius, she's got her hands on printed parts every day, working with Formlabs SLA, Carbon DLS, and HP MJF processes. Genevieve loves to learn about new supporting and orientation techniques, and she distills these insights to her customers to design better parts smarter, to make new things possible. Understanding how parts are redesigned for different printing processes and traditional manufacturing processes allows her to leverage technologies across supply chains to give customers the parts they need when they need it.

Bryan Bartley is a biomedical engineer with a background in diabetes, kidney disease, and cancer research. He currently works as a computational biologist and data scientist for Raytheon BBN based in Cambridge, MA. He received a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Washington and has been working remotely from San Juan Island in the Salish Sea.
